About Peggy
Peggy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Missouri and Kansas and has an MSW from the University of Kansas. Peggy has worked in a group practice in Kansas City providing therapy and workshops on issues surrounding sexuality to many levels of people involved in the child welfare system.
Currently Peggy is in a private practice at the Westport Growth Center in Kansas City, MO where her clinical focus includes but is not limited to human sexuality, how to be in healthy relationships and how to fix barriers to a healthy sexuality.
Peggy uses current research proven techniques for the best results for the people she serves. Peggy has received considerable training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Also, Peggy is pursuing Certification as a Gottman Method Therapist. Her therapy style is clear and comfortable with sensitivity to diversity and a dose of humor as well.
When not engaged with family and friends, Peggy enjoys nature as well as the performing arts.
